Hatha Yoga and Sound Bath

Hatha Yoga Flow with Amy Galioto and Sound Bath with Jenn Gietzen taking place at the Michigan Academy of Folk Music in Holland.  This session will begin with the movement led by Amy and is suitable for all levels.  The yoga will be approxmiately 45 minutes in length followed by a sound bath led by Jenn for approximately 45 minutes.  The balance of this style of yoga and the immersive sound bath will leave you feeling rejuvenated and reset.  The movement for this session invites us to engage in more upright poses, more flow than a restorative yoga session and the sound bath will provide you with deep rest and stillness, a long shavasana accompanied by live sound.  Jenn will play the crystal bowls, Himalayan Singing Bowls, chimes, gongs, drums and  a variety of other instruments to support your deep relaxation.  No experience necessary with yoga or sound baths, all levels welcome. 

What to bring:

Yoga mat

Blanket or 2

Pillow for your head

Eye Pillow if you have one (jenn will have some available)

Water

What to wear:

Yoga attire or comfy clothes

When to arrive:

Doors will open at 12:50.
